After graduating from East Carolina University in 1972, James O. "Bud" Tisdale, Jr. began laying his business foundation by working for Cameron Brown Mortgage Company. During his six years in the mortgage business, Bud became interested in not only the financing of houses, but the building of them as well. Bud decided to venture into the building business and subsequently obtained his real estate broker and general contractor licenses. In 1978, Bud left the mortgage banking industry and began building high quality homes full-time. Along the way, Bud Tisdale has won the Fayetteville "Builder of the Year" award, served as a regional vice president of the NC Home Builders Association Executive Committee, and has served as president of the Fayetteville Home Builders Association Board of Directors. Bud has been a Realtor and a member of the Fayetteville Home Builders Association for over 30 years.
Bud Tisdale has always been very community minded and has served as the president of the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, a board member of the Cumberland County Board of Health, and as president of the Fayetteville Area Economic Development Corporation.
Working one-on-one with each of his clients allows Bud to consistently build high quality homes. "I'm able to personally work with my customers from the planning stage through the completion of their home. This allows me to suggest design and finish options that deliver the most home for their money. Sometimes simple changes can have major impact on livability or cost. I truly strive to build the best home possible for my clients."

After graduating from East Carolina University in 1996, David Tisdale started his career as an Information Technology consultant. For the next 10 years, David gained experience in programming, project management, business analysis, and management with companies such as Centura Bank and Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC. Eventually, David decided it was time to leave the land of cubicles and return to the industry in which he grew up ... home building. In Spring of 2006, David left the world of Information Technology and came to Tisdale Homes to learn the custom home building business.
David is a licensed real estate broker and general contractor. His primary responsibilities include pricing and estimation, client interaction, scheduling, plan selection, jobsite supervision, and IT technical support.
